In this blog is the voice of a 20-something from a
demographic mostly hidden behind fast-paced lives, computer screens and deadlines.
No, this is not an online journal or running commentary on
my life. Definitely not Thought Catalog
a la working girl or an advice column. Neither is it a blog to broadcast to the
general populace what we ate/wore/did today.
This is about the ones who know what it’s like to be part of
the workforce, the ones who are trying to make a life while at it. We all have
our stories. Even the biggest workaholics among us have adventures and
misadventures. We acquire – and, occasionally, outgrow – interests, friends,
homes, pseudo-homes, jobs and loves.
I, the Working Girl, say hello to you from my seat in some
coffee shop (it’s the weekend as I write this and I’m not working).
